A decaying building has a strong future...BUT WHEN?
I had read all the stories saying the funding was coming, but there's been no visable action. I had to know what, if anything was going on. I contacted Bob Long, from the EDC. He confirmed that the TIF was approved and that the Savoy is still in the planning stages. My curiosity is satisfied...for now.
The TIF will restore and renovate the structure; parking updates and add 200 hotel rooms.
