More Kansas City Unemployment

A local printing plant, Lifetouch, is closing soon. This seems similar to the announcement of the Folgers Plant closure in 2010.  A company ran the numbers and figure out it would be less expensive to operate in another facility.

The biggest difference for me...I work at Lifetouch (for now). At least I have this blog and my faithful followers.

Lifetouch was not the first printing facility to announce a closure in this June: Barton Nelson closed recently with very little notice.

The details are available in this weeks edition of Platte County Landmark.
