River Market Antique Mall is adding a 2nd location in the old OGGI Furniture building at 6th and Central, KCMO. OGGI shut their doors in 2007, since then only the top floor has been used as a residency. There had been rumors of other uses for the building, but this is the first sign of real life. This location will focus on used/retro furniture. I'd say it's a very fitting choice for the location. Furniture and home furnishings have started piling into the building. No word on an opening date.
My hopes are that the coffee shops near by chose to be open on the weekend now...always a dreamer...
